[Ntop] configuring ntop on multiple hosts with one collector

You don't have switches that can do netflow or sflow directly? If not your idea should work fine.

Yes we have a few file servers where we want to analyze the traffic. And
I would like
to see at one place who is the most active downloader/uploader for all
servers or just
a given server etc.
