In other words Terry, Make sure you're machine can look up address
properly and NTOP will resolve them as well.

 

FYI: name resolution is configured by editing the /etc/resolv.conf file.

ntop resolves dns by using the gethost() calls, i.e. through the
standard dns resolution of the host AND by sniffing dns resolutions done

To all

 

I am trying to add the DNS address to allow NTOP to look convert the IP
address to name.  I used the following command

 

-n | -- numeric-ip-addresses 208.70.48.1

 

Is this correct?  It did not take
