[Ntop] ssl error accessing ntop

I'm using ntop on debian and I'm getting the following error accesing the 
ntop's interface
May  9 11:31:09 ntop[13202]:   **ERROR** SSL(read)ERROR [Thread 13202]: 
error:140EC0E5:SSL routines:SSL2_READ_INTERNAL:ssl handshake failure at 
s2_pkt.c(142)

I checked to use only ssl2, I noticed that accessing trafficStats.html, when 
I stopped the page to go somewhere, the ntop process freezes, and the web 
interface doesn't answer properly anymore.

Thanks in advance for any explanation to find my error.
