Hi all ....

I've just installed an ntop3.2 suite on a FC4 server.

I got the source from http://fresh.t-systems-sfr.com/unix/src/misc/ntop-3.2.tgz
and followed the installation instruccions as described in BUILD-NTOP.txt.

However, I have not could bring up the TCP-IP connection between nagios
and listening socket mySQLserver.pl.

I start nagios in this way:

/usr/local/bin/ntop -P /usr/local/share/ntop -b localhost:4000

but this error comes up:

FATAL ERROR: Unrecognized/unprocessed ntop options...

run /usr/local/bin/ntop --help for usage information

Common problems:
-B "filter expressions" (quotes are required)
--use-syslog=facilty (the = is required)

In fact, when I write "ntop --help" the "-b" option does
not seem to be a valid option to send information to a listening socket ....

I have already read a lot of documents, but the problem still exists. Do you
know if I am doing something wrong?

I also read the "./configure --help" to see if there was any option
regarding mySQL compliant ... but there is no one.

Any idea?
