[Ntop] NTOP stats resetting for individual IP's

I am having an issue with NTOP, that while not critical, is annoying.. I 
leave NTOP running for about a week at a time, then reset the stats.. 
However, I have noticed that sometimes, an IP address would be #2 for 
traffic one day, (say at 150MB) and the next morning when I come in, 
that IP shows 5MB of traffic.  The #1 host, (our proxy server for our 
student network) seems to keep incrementing, and I have never noticed it 
reset.  This is not just number 2 on the list, it happens to different 
hosts (but not all, just a few)..  I use Netflow to monitor the traffic 
over our T1 line. 
Any idea why some hosts would be resetting their traffic and not others?
