[Ntop] general newbie questions..

Hello all,

I've been playing w/ ntop for a few days now and find somethings 
confusing and frustrating; so I'm looking for clarification.

I'm using it on FreeBSD (tried 5.3 and 4.11) from ports, as well as the 
cvs version.

I like the cvs version much better.. but I cannot seem to figure out why 
the rrdplugin isn't loaded or working..

My newbie problem is, I cannot figure out *how* I am supposed to change 
the config.

Should I edit the ntop.sh, should I got to the admin -> configure -> 
startup.

In the stable version it seems that the configure -> startup was is at 
the very least inconsistent as to what arguments it will keep, load and 
work with.

I find the cvs version more consistent when it comes to changing 
settings, but again still confusing.

About -> show config shows things set that I didn't set in either the 
ntop.sh, or where ever the configure -> startup settings go.

So a general 'clue' or guidelines for how I should make setting changes 
would be appreciated, and an idea as to how to figure out the rrdplugin 
on cvs would also be appreciated.

(for what it's worth I'm trying to get info from a Cisco3620 and have it 
setup using version 9)
